Lantide Data is a local-first desktop application. The data you load, workspace content, query results, settings, and local logs are stored and processed on your device by default; they are not automatically uploaded to Lantide servers.

Please back up important data. Removing the app may not delete workspaces, caches, exports, or other local data.

Lantide Data currently does not actively send usage tracking, crash reports, or other telemetry to Lantide.

We receive information only when you choose to share it, for example by email, a bug report, screenshots, or exported diagnostics. Before sharing, remove API keys, passwords, connection strings, and unnecessary confidential information.

When you use AI features, the app may directly send prompts, conversation content, data structure, field information, or other necessary context to the model API, compatible endpoint, or local model you configure. Lantide does not host or proxy these model requests and has no partnership or agency relationship with model providers.

You can configure or disable AI features, including by using a local model. You also choose and authorize MCP sources and external AI Agents; review their permissions, data practices, and security before use.

You retain rights in the data and analysis output you load, process, or create, and are responsible for ensuring you have authority to process that data. Original data sources remain read-only through query tools, while Agents may create or update Workspace artifacts when the selected mode and approvals permit it. AI-generated SQL, analysis, and recommendations are assistive and should be reviewed.

Protect your device, Workspace, accounts, and API keys appropriately. External Agents and services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

A Workspace export uses Balanced compression by default and includes the Agent query ledger, MCP cache, and local files from the initial data folder and Additional folders. Review the file scope before sharing: an all-files export can include hidden files, source code, or credentials. Extra confirmation is required only when deduplicated physical data is greater than 200 MiB.

Remote database and cloud-folder content, recoverable passwords, and authorization caches are not included. Full backup is a different export type that can combine multiple Workspaces with an Application profile and has separate options.

An external Agent can read supported snapshot-safe artifacts from another Workspace without switching the selected writer Workspace. Cross-Workspace reads do not allow live queries, schema or source access, GUI handoff, drafts, pending operations, or writes; separate calls are not guaranteed to share one transactional snapshot.

Within a Plan, complete execution snapshots preserve formal query and Source Run steps beyond the latest 50 steps retained in conversation context. These snapshots preserve execution history, not source data.

External Delivery belongs to a Report and stores pointer metadata for P4, KM, URL, or Other destinations, including fields such as label, location, source revision, and note.

Lantide does not upload, fetch, verify, synchronize, or delete the external content. Unlinking removes only the Report's pointer, and only HTTP or HTTPS locations offer a user-initiated Open action.

Source recovery stores local tracking information on your device. Workspace bundles carry stable source IDs and available analysis context, but exclude native tracking tokens and machine-local recovery paths. Rebind sources on another computer. A source mapping identifies the current location; it does not verify unchanged contents.
