21. Report an Issue
Use Help → Report issue... to create a diagnostic zip, then submit it via the Google Form. Enter the title and description in the form; the in-app dialog only packages the diagnostic data.
21.1 Steps
- (Optional) Add screenshots related to the error in the dialog.
- Check the log types you are willing to share (frontend error records are included by default; backend logs are off by default).
- Click Create zip to save the diagnostic package (
.zip). - Click Open feedback form or the form link in the instructions, fill in the title and description in the Google Form, upload the zip, and submit.
21.2 Notes
- Packaging is desktop-only: A browser-only dev page cannot create a zip, but you can still open the form link.
- Closing the dialog deletes the zip created in this session (to avoid clutter in the Downloads folder); if you already saved a copy with Export zip, that copy is not deleted.
- Google Form file uploads are often limited to about 10MB; keep the number and size of screenshots reasonable, and aim to keep the diagnostic zip under 8MB.
- The form may require signing in with a Google account to upload attachments.
21.3 Summary of Zip Contents
